Raymond A Johnson Jr (Raymie) passed away peacefully on August 2, 2021 with his loving sister by his side. Raymond lived a life filled with lots of love from his family and friends. He was born in Miami, Florida and attended Hialeah High School. He happily worked for the City of Miami Parks, Beach and Recreation for 28 years. Raymond enjoyed being with his loyal dog Rebel, as well as spending time with his cousins. He was known for his love of motorcycles, fast cars and strong-willed personality, but always very loving heart. Raymond had several challenges in his life that he overcame, on his own and with the help of loving family and especially his cousin, Deborah Raye Neff and his sister, Deborah Raye Nyenbrink, by his side. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him, as everyone had a story about “Ray”. He is preceded in death by his parents Raymond Sr. and Peggy Johnson. Raymond is survived by his sister Deborah (George) Nyenbrink of Davie, Florida. Sister, Sandra Allen of Clinton, Connecticut. Nephews, David ( Lindsey) Nyenbrink of Davie, Florida. Brent (Stacy) Nyenbrink of Hickory Hills, Illinois. Great Nieces and Great Nephews and many loving cousins that watched over him. A Mass of the Christian burial will be held Thursday August 5, 2021 at St. Maximillian Catholic Church, 701 Hiatus Rd at 12:30, Burial to follow at Vista Memorial Gardens Cemetery, OpaLocka, where Raymond will be laid to rest near his parents. In Lieu of Flowers donations can be made to the St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
