Irene was born in Huntington, West Virginia to Reverend John Finley Morris Sr. and Mary Maxine Morris on January 15, 1946. She was the first of four children. Bishop John Finley Morris Jr., Jennifer Lynn Dailey, and Leanette Louise Owens. She received her education from Huntington High School and her Business Associates degree from DeVry University in Columbus, Ohio. Irene had three children. Cherita Kaye Ruff-Barnes, Bobby LeClay Ruff, and Tyler Le’Mar Ruff. She worked at Lucent Technologies in Columbus, Ohio with 30 years of service and UPS for 6 years of service. Irene was a cosmetologist, lock smith, and an educator. She tutored children in her spare time. There was nothing she could not do. She enjoyed cooking, sewing, football, and spending time with her family and friends. Irene was a faithful Member of Christ Temple A.O.H. church (Huntington, West Virginia) and Rejoice Praise and Worship (Columbus, Ohio). She is preceded in death by her father Reverend John Finley Morris Sr., brother Bishop John Findley Morris Jr., and niece Jalon Marie Dailey. Celebrating her life and legacy is her sister Jennifer Lynn Dailey, sister Leanette Louise Owens (Riley Owens) and Hyacinth Morris (Sister-in-Law), Daughter Cherita Kaye Ruff-Barnes, Son Bobby LeClay Ruff, son Tyler Le’Mar Ruff (Sarah Williamson-Ruff), Grand-Children, Bobby LeClay Ruff II, Tatianna Ruff-Hobday-Barnes, James Ruff, and Joseph Riley Ruff, Great-Grand Child Raelyn Kae Ruff, Nephews John Finley Morris III, Kenneth Alexander Morris, Niece Angel Renee Morris and a host of many family and friends. In lieu of Flowers the family request donations to the Alzheimer's Association.
