Helen Moresi Andrews, 67, of Fort Lauderdale, FL lost her battle with cancer on July 8, 2022 at her home with the love of her life at her side. Helen was born to Joan and Richard Moresi on September 12, 1954 in Philadelphia, PA. After graduating from high school, Helen moved to Fort Lauderdale where she met and fell in love with “Brock” Andrews. They were married soon after on Nov 27, 1981 and have celebrated 40 years together. Helen and Brock had an exclusive love, like no others. They always knew when the other needed a lift and would put a lovely greeting card out for the other to find. Her favorite song to sing to Brock at a karaoke night was “More” by Andy Williams, no one else could love you more. Helen never had children of her own, however she was fondly known as “Family Helen” to many children in her circle of friends. Her loving babies were her beautiful golden retrievers, Yankee, Dallas, and Philly. Helen was beautiful inside and out and loved by anyone who had the pleasure of meeting her. She made many lifelong friends that she loved spending time with over a glass of wine. She was a career Construction Secretary, working for Rooney, Centex, Coastal, and Inpros. Helen is preceded in death by her parents Richard and Joan (Lachowizc) Moresi, her stepfather Clement Lachowizc, her sister Jane (Moresi) Ruoff, her nephew Richard Ruoff and her babies, Yankee, Dallas, and Philly. She is survived by her husband Brock, brother-in-laws William Andrews and Otto Ruoff, sister-in-laws Alice (Gene) Cizenski and Patricia Shone, nephew Andrew Ruoff, wife Emily and their beautiful girls Lyla and Ivy, many extended family and friends.
