Edward John White

Edward John White, 77, of Oakland Park passed away on Saturday, March 30, 2024.  Edward proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy in both Pensacola, FL and Japan.  He moved his family from Cliffwood Beach, NJ to Oakland Park in 1979 where Edward worked as a mechanic for Holman BMW for over 40 years.  He faithfully served as Deacon as a charter member of the New Presbyterian Church in Wilton Manors.  Always willing to help others, it was his work as leader of the Benevolent Committee at New Presbyterian Church that gave Edward further opportunities to help those in need.  

Edward is survived by his loving wife, Patricia, of Oakland Park; daughter, Karen Lynn (Todd) Linton of Oakland Park; son, Edward Joseph White of Oakland Park; sister, Arlene TenEyck of King City, Oregon and many cherished nieces and nephews.  He will be missed dearly.  

Burial will be held at South Florida VA National Cemetery, Lake Worth on April 15, 2024, 2:30 PM, Lane 3.
