James Bernard Logan Jr.

James Bernard Logan Jr. died on Thursday October 20, 2016 at Holy Cross Rehabilitation center in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. He was 58 years old. Born in Richmond Virginia, to Mother Ruth Eleanora Thomas and Father James Bernard Logan. Logan lived in Virginia, Colorado, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and Orlando, Florida where he later settled in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. He was a veteran of the U. S. Army, graduate of University of Pennsylvania where he studied to become a registered nurse. He will be remembered for his dedication to helping others and upholding family traditions. He loved to bake and everyone will miss his famous homemade cakes. He is survived by his beloved Husband, Raymond Heinz Bauer and devoted daughter Theresa Ann Eggert (Andrew James); Sisters Alice Thomas, Brenda Turner (Nathan), Madlyn Logan, Pamela Gordon (Littleton), Ella Artis, Karen Butler, Jeanie Brown (Sheldon); brothers Goldie Logan (Shantae) and Val Logan; and many nieces and nephews. Family and friends are invited to call on Monday, October 24th from 12pm to 1pm at First Christian Church of Wilton Manors, 2725 NE 14th Ave Wilton Manors, Florida 33334 where his funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Arrangements entrusted to Edwards Cremation & Funeral Services, Wilton Manors.
