Satek ,Nicholas Anthony "Nick" was born October 18, 1950 in Oak Park, IL, the son of William and Viola Mika Satek. He grew up in the Chicago area, received a Bachelor of Science degree from SW Missouri State University. He was honorably discharged from the U.S. Army after serving in the Vietnam war. During the many years he lived in Chicago he was a corporate event planner. He relocated to Pompano Beach, FL 20 Years ago. Nick was preceded in death by his parents, former partner Chuck Midlar and his brother Bill. Survivors include his husband Tim Frazier who was so grateful they could celebrate their one year anniversary together on May 16th. In the final years Tim gave Nick the ultimate 24/7 care that was required during his declining health and always the dedicated love they shared together. In addition to Tim he is also survived by his brothers Chuck, Jim, Steve, his sister-in-law Anne and several nieces and nephews. Also many friends including Joe and Jenny Midlar and their daughters Pam and Debbie. Nick enjoyed traveling, theater, hosting dinners, parties and "cocktail hour". He just loved being at home with Tim and their dogs Roxy and Rocco. Tim is planning a Service of Remembrance sometime in the future.
