Ernest George Miller

Ernest George (Gavin) Miller, Jr. 52 of Wilton Manors died suddenly on Wednesday November 18, 2015. Gavin was formerly of Lexington, NC. He received his Master’s Degree in Fine Arts from East Carolina University in 1989. Received a Certificate of Cosmetology in 1993. At the time of his death, he was employed by ALGY as a Web Designer/Specialist. Gavin was a dedicated teacher, an artist, and created many designs. He taught Dance and was a former Color Guard Instructor and Choreographer for several Florida high schools including Boca Raton and recently John I. Leonard High School. He received many awards for his excellence in his fields of expertise. He was loved by many for his talents, generosity, humor, loyalty, and excellence. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends. He is survived by mother Nancy Miller of Lexington, Brothers Jeffrey Miller of Thomasville, NC and Richard Miller of Lexington, NC. A Celebration of Life will be held at a friend’s home at a future date. “Gavin Miller’s Celebration of Life” is on Facebook group. Also a private ceremony will be held in Lexington, NC.
