David Johnson Burks 54, of Wilton Manors died with his family by his side on Thursday April 10, 2014. David was the Supervisor of Maintenance at North Star Community Church. Survived by his Wife: Patricia, Brothers: Gary (Diane) Burks of Okeechobee and Robert (Peggy) Burks of Plantation. Sister: Julie (Gary) Lucas of Ft. Lauderdale, Sister in law Renee Burks, and Predeceased by his Brother: Ricky Burks, Sister In Laws: Colleen Loving of Pensacola, Mary Galterio of Ft. Lauderdale. Brother in Law: Jeff Loving of Pensacola, In Laws: Earl and Ida Loving of Lake Placid. Nieces & Nephews: Kelley. Kevin, Kristopher, Matthew, Summer, Caleb, Dominic, Brittany and Jessica.  A Memorial Service will be held at North Star Community Church, 116 NE 24 Street, Wilton Manors, on Wednesday April 16, 2014 at 11:00 AM.
